Participants learn how to research their assigned role, analyse briefing materials, construct persuasive arguments, write speeches, understand committee structures and parliamentary procedures, debate under pressure and respond to rapidly changing situations.

The programme combines guided theory with practical simulations, assignments, mock debates, crisis exercises and conference-specific preparation.

The programme's existing assessment structure includes weekly essays, speeches and role research, participation in debates and simulations, and a final conference speech and/or written bill.

Duration

18-hour core preparation programme + optional individual preparation until the conference.

The existing programme is structured around a core preparation period followed by additional preparation leading up to the conference.
